EB-3 stands for “employment-based third category” and refers to a type of immigrant visa issued to i) professionals who hold a baccalaureate degree or foreign equivalent degree, ii) skilled workers who have at least two years of experience or training, or iii) other workers in positions for which no qualified U.S. workers are available.
